Refund policy
Please read our policies carefully. We want to ensure every customer is treated fairly, and as such we cannot make exceptions to these policies. We are happy to discuss any questions or concerns, so feel free to send us an email at help@saltandhart.com.
Before doing the following....please check the shipping information on your order. Pre-ordered items have a specific shipping timeline.
Our policy lasts 14 days after you receive your product. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, please email us at help@saltandhart.com. Your item must be unused, unopened, unwashed, in the same condition that you received it.
The full product must be sent.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund for each returned item.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Refunds take 2-3 business days to arrive the payment method.
Shipping Returns and Exchanges
You will be responsible for paying all shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at help@saltandhart.com. The customer is responsible for shipping costs.
Gift Returns & Exchanges
If you received a Salt & Hart item as a gift, we’re happy to offer:
• An exchange
• Store credit (never expires)
Gifted items are not eligible for refunds to the original form of payment.
To be eligible:
- Items must be unused and in original condition
- Requests must be made within 14 days of delivery
Exchanges
We gladly accept exchanges for:
- A different product
- A different size or style
- An upgrade (you simply pay the difference)
Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Once your return is received and approved, your replacement item will be sent.
Store Credit
Store credit:
- Never expires
- Can be used on any item in our shop
- May be applied toward higher-value items
Many customers choose this option to select something they truly love.
Refunds
Refunds are only issued if:
- An item arrives damaged or defective
- There was an error with your order
- We are unable to offer refunds on gifted items or opened products.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping on non-defective items
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
- We recommend using a tracked shipping method
